Four leading Indian technology service companies—Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and Wipro—have announced strategic plans to deploy a combined total of over 200,000 Microsoft Copilot licenses across their enterprises. Each company is expected to integrate more than 50,000 licenses.
This significant move marks one of the largest enterprise-scale adoptions of generative artificial intelligence (AI) to date. Microsoft has highlighted this initiative as a new benchmark for corporate implementation of generative AI on a global scale.
The involved companies are framing the deployment of Copilot as part of their strategy to establish this AI-powered tool as a default in their workflows, underscoring their commitment to enhancing operational efficiency and fostering innovation through AI technology.
