Four prominent Indian service companies—Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and Wipro—have unveiled ambitious plans to deploy over 200,000 Microsoft Copilot licenses across their enterprises. This initiative is expected to involve distributing more than 50,000 licenses to each participating company.
This deployment represents one of the largest enterprise-scale adoptions of generative artificial intelligence (AI) to date. Microsoft has highlighted this move as a significant new benchmark for the widespread integration of generative AI within corporate environments.
The involved companies are positioning this substantial rollout of Copilot as a strategic step to establish the AI-powered tool as a default component of their standard operational frameworks.
