WASHINGTON D.C.- The crypto currency market shows signs of caution in the midst of political and macroeconomic uncertainty in the United States. The funds traded in Bitcoin and Ethereum spots in the U.S. recorded a clean flow drop for several days, along with the ongoing political turmoil.
- Bitcoin Spot performance:On Monday, the ETF Bitcoin spot experienced a fourth day of unfolding funds with a total clean-out current of $40.47 million. ETF IBIT of BlackRock leads the losses with $100.65 million, although the FBTC of Fidelity and BITB of Bitwise still records incoming currents. Cumulative, total net Bitcoin ETF assets are currently up to $149.66 billion, about 6.76% of Bitcoin market capitalization.
- ETHEUM Spot performance:ETF Ether spot is also scheduled for a third day with daily clean outflow of $145.68 million. The biggest withdrawal goes to ETHA of BlackRock and FETH of Fidelity.
The decline in the interest of this investor is in the midst of increasing political tension in the U.S.. Analysts from Bitunix claim that this political turmoil is not just the impact of public sentiment, but rather the stress test of institutional trust, warning potential impacts of liquidity and structural trust in the U.S. system.
Vincent Liu, Chief Investment Officer on Kronos Research, observed that the ETF outflow reflects a wider de-riding phase. "Investors are locking the profits and putting new capital on the side; both ETF sees a less risk taste and a thinner depth of offer across the board," clearly Liu added that US political turbulence is becoming in a state of caution, pushing capital towards more defensive assets. The market is expected to keep going until there's a clearer direction of policy or it breaks down the political tension in the US.
