The crypto world has seen a series of significant developments recently. Grayscale Investments launched a staking-enabled Solana ETF, and Ethereum successfully tested a crucial upgrade.
Grayscale Debuts Solana ETF with Staking Feature
Cryptocurrency asset manager Grayscale Investments has launched its staking-enabled spot Solana exchange-traded fund (ETF). The product, trading on NYSE Arca under the ticker GSOL, offers institutional access to Solana exposure and allows investors to earn rewards through Solana's proof-of-stake (PoS) network. Ethereum's Fusaka Fork Successfully Undergoes Final Testnet
Ethereum's next major upgrade, known as Fusaka, has successfully gone live on its final testnet, Hoodi. This test sets the stage for its mainnet launch on December 3, which aims to bring several scalability and security improvements to the network. Fusaka will implement several Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs), including Peer Data Availability Sampling (PeerDAS) via EIP-7594, which will boost node efficiency by allowing validators to read smaller pieces of data. EIP-7825 and EIP-7935 are also included in the update to raise the gas limit and improve efficiency, preparing Ethereum for parallel execution.
