Four leading Indian technology service companies—Cognizant, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), Infosys, and Wipro—have unveiled extensive plans to deploy Microsoft Copilot. Collectively, they are set to roll out over 200,000 licenses of the generative AI tool across their organizations, with each firm expected to adopt more than 50,000 licenses.

This initiative marks what Microsoft terms a new benchmark for enterprise-scale adoption of generative artificial intelligence. The participating companies view the integration of Copilot as a strategic move to establish generative AI as a default tool within their operations, aiming to embed it into daily workflows to enhance efficiency and foster innovation.
