The most rigorous international study to date on the firm-level impact of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has been published. Surveying nearly 6,000 verified executives across four countries, the research indicates that AI has led to modest aggregate shifts in productivity or employment over the past three years.

This measured impact is attributed to the early phases of AI deployment across various sectors. Despite the current modest changes, the study's findings suggest that executives maintain a constructive outlook and high optimism regarding AI's future potential.
